1 Day: Panoramic Photography – Advanced Post Processing and Printing
Los Gatos, California
August 6, 2016
8 participants only
You have captured your panos, stitched, post processed and printed your images, and the result is still not to your satisfaction. There are many factors that can contribute to the frustration, and your instructor has experienced most of them (and many more) over the years.
The first part of the advanced pano post processing workshop is to work on your actual panos and show you how to realize your vision. You’ll be introduced to the “marker technique”, which will improve your image tremendously. The instructor then will use Photoshop extensively and other software to implement the findings of the “marker technique” and solve your original issues.
The second part of the workshop is getting your pano ready for print. We’ll first review your pano as is and then print a final version at the end of the workshop. You'll leave with one great print and the knowledge you need to get the results you're looking for when you return home. You'll also leave with a vastly expanded set of possibilities for making panos.
Upon signing up for the workshop, you will receive a coursebook that includes printing tips, the software and hardware requirements, and what to bring to the workshop.
What you'll learn:
• “The marker technique” (turning your images into fine art prints)
• Hands-on techniques taught on your panos (not the instructor images)
• Advanced post processing tips, tricks, and the pitfalls to maintain quality
• Getting your image ready for print (soft proofing, strip printing)
• Print review (start and end of the workshop)
• Q&A specifics to your issues
• Leave the workshop with a new print (up to 30” width)
We are looking forward to meeting you at the advanced post processing pano and printing workshop.
Don't delay your registration, as there is very few sessions scheduled this year.
