1 Day: Landscape Photography

Half Moon Bay Coastal and Inland, California

January 14, 2017 (1 – 6PM)

10 participants

(Sold Out)

Some locations just seem to have it all. The Northern California coast, however, has it all and then some! The iconic places, such as the Golden Gate Bridge, the Big Sur coastline, the Bixby bridge, and the Carmel Missions are a feast to the eyes. However, we’ll not stop there but rather introduce you to the lesser known places to photograph hidden gems off Highway 1 (Gazo creek), shorelines (South of Half Moon Bay), and stunning sunsets (Light house, State park). As you can see, we have more on tap than we have time to photograph!

This workshop gives you opportunities to broaden your skills as a landscape photographer, learn to compose with the “sketching technique”, and to add a personal feel to your images. Come with an open mind and leave with a breath of new knowledge. Remember that the instructor is here to assist and answer your questions. Don’t be shy!

Upon signing up for the workshop, you will receive a coursebook that details the photoshoot locations and tips on landscape photography.

What you'll learn:
• How to plan for landscape photography (useful apps)
• Tips learned and applied over the years to capture stunning landscape
• Exposure for common and tricky situations
• Critical exercises to compose (“eagle eye”)
• Elements to make your landscape photography stand out
• How to evaluate your images and select them (speed, accuracy, and quality)
• How to immerse yourself in landscape photography (not to be missed!)

We are looking forward to meeting you at the landscape photography workshop in January.

Don't delay your registration, as there is very few sessions scheduled this year.
