1 Day: Advanced Wildlife
Sulphur Creek Nature Center, Hayward, CA
March10 (9:30AM - 4:30PM) (THREE SPOT LEFT)
(Register early as all sessions were sold out in the past)
NOTE - REQUIREMENTS: You need to have attended the Wildlife at Sulphur Creek session.
You will join professional wildlife and nature photographer Oliver Klink and fine art photographer Kate Jordahl during this workshop. The goal is to provide a memorable and exciting experience while gaining knowledge on how to photograph wildlife and to get your image ready for print (either color or Black and White)
We start at the Sulphur Creek Nature Center (1801 D Street, Hayward, CA 94507) and learn to capture astonishing wildlife portraits of birds, reptiles, and mammals. We will set up a schedule for one-on-one sessions wih the animals. Animals are taken out of their cages and placed in a natural environment conducive to photography. You’ll learn advanced technical tricks to photograph these animals when they pose or move around.
Around noon, we’ll have a working lunch at PhotoCentral. We do recommend bringing a lunch sack or we’ll provide recommendations on where to buy sandwiches.
The afternoon is spent at PhotoCentral (1099 E Street, Hayward, CA 94541) learning how to post process your images. We will teach more advanced technique to post process your images, black and white or with effects. We evaluate your images and post process them. You’ll learn how to quickly rate your images, post process to bring out the best of your images, and then prepare your file for printing.
NOTE: On March 9, we do have a wildlife session as Sulphur Creek, which counts as a requirement for this workshop. Click HERE to register for the wildlife session.
We look forward to meeting you on March 10 (and March 9, if you signed up for both sessions) at Sulphur Creek Nature Center.
