From the Plains to Death Valley (California)

Capturing the LIGHT

Feb 28 - March 5, 2021

SOLD OUT

Zoom prep meeting - February 23, 6PM (PST)

We are traveling from the Plains to Death Valley, searching and capturing the light. The Plains are one of the best kept secrets in California. You can "hear the silence" and feel the importance of the Native Americans heritage. In the little park with a big park experience, we will find intimate and personal composition of rocks. And in Death Valley, we are not going to travel to the four corners of the park, but rather to a few places and work the light!

This Weekender workshop requires a 2WD with high clearance or a 4x4 vehicle, overnight in an adventure RV or camping, and packing all your food and water. Detailed direction will be giving upon signing up for the workshop. If you plan on joining the Eureka Dunes workshop, we will “caravan” to the remote part of Death Valley.

Detailed description of the workshop can be found in the tabs below (Agenda, Logistics, Difficulties, Is it for me?, Instructors, and Extensions)
